Phonar creative task 5 – Transformative storytelling

For our fifth task we had to complete a photo artefact that contains a narrative. The images used were to be found images only, so from family albums or online galleries. There had to be a soundscape to the images and this had to relate to the people in the photographs.

I chose to record my Mum reading out a poem which she wrote and read at my Nan’s funeral. I then chose images from my family album, mainly of my Nan and Mum but also of people relating to my Nan. I photographed the photos on some lace rather than scanning them in. I did this so it would add another layer into the photofilm.

I found this task enjoyable and I am looking forward to doing the final task “A day in the life”. Below is my task….
